Is Buddha Assistant free?

Yes. Every signed-in user gets 2 free questions every day — no subscription, no trial, no credit card required. If you want to ask more than that in a day, you can buy a one-time credit pack (50 or 100 credits) through Google Play. Credits never expire.

Do my credits expire? Is this a subscription?

No, and no. Credit packs are one-time purchases — there is nothing to cancel and nothing auto-renews. Credits never expire. Your free daily questions refresh every 24 hours automatically.

I bought a credit pack but my credits aren't showing.

This can happen if your purchase token hasn't synced yet. Try closing and reopening the app, or pulling down to refresh on the home screen. If the issue persists, email us at support@fiveup.ai with your Google Play order number and we'll resolve it promptly.

How do I request a refund?

Refund requests for credit packs are handled by Google Play. Visit Google Play's refund help page to submit a request. For extenuating circumstances, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

What translations does the app use?

Buddha Assistant selects passages from across the Pali Canon and Mahayana sutras — whichever source best captures the meaning for your question.

Can I request deletion of my data?

Yes. Email us at support@fiveup.ai with the subject "Data deletion request" and we will delete your account data within 30 days.
